May 2nd

Our tour has been rolling on relentlessly and we have already played some incredibly fun shows. We finally have some down time today so it's back to the blog...

We kicked things off on Thursday in Cranbrook with a house concert and birthday party at the Buckley house. It was great to spend time with some old friends and family who had not had a chance to see us play before. Then we headed off to Alberta for a gig in High River. Gitter's Pub turned out to be a wicked venue and High River a surprisingly vibrant little town. We couldn't have asked for a better reception. We sold lots of CDs and actually signed a bunch of autographs for some new fans! That night we drove to south Calgary to crash with a friend of Tyler's. On Saturday afternoon we hit the road once again and set our sights on Edmonton. Local band Wool on Wolves generously put us up in their house 10 minutes from Likwid Lounge. It was the first time we saw our name in lights! A great crowd came out and helped us play one of our most rockin' shows to date. The final act of the night was a no-show and we were asked to keep playing after our first set!

We head off to Stoney Plain tonight to hang out and jam at a cabin on Spring Lake! No internet out there but we'll post updates again soon!

Until then,
Loco Ghost
